Nick is a professed member and priest in the community who is deeply interested in Christian existential thought, common ground, equity and the work of ministry and spiritual care in secular settings. He completed a unit of clinical pastoral education at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston during the summer of 2021. After that, he completed additional units with the Sankofa CPE Center, the Jed Center for Spiritual Care and Education, and at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. Before beginning his clinical training, Nick graduated from Boston University in May 2021 with a master of divinity focused on chaplaincy, where he also graduated with a bachelor of science in 2018 in computer engineering. During his studies, he worked at the university chapel for four years and chaired a seat in the seminary’s student government. He is currently a hospice chaplain at Salmon Hospice, in the Metrowest Region of Boston, MA and a per diem hospital chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Outside of his ministry work, Nick likes to dance West Coast Swing and explore New England with his wife, Sarah.
